The Tuesday sessions explored funding issues, innovations and sought feedback around
certain items. Grant Charles facilitated the discussions. There was an emphasis upon moving
the delegates around to allow for a wider shared discussion. The level of that discussion and
its focus upon the goals of the current site status: inclusive, open, free and diverse; was
notable.
In the evening, some 65 or so delegates were taken up to The Rooms, St. John's museum, art
gallery and archive cultural centre for a banquet. The dining space was a massive open space
that takes advantage of the building's site looking out over the city and the harbour. The
friendship and fellowship of direct colleagues is often a given. This writer's hope that a similar
friendship and fellowship for the keepers of CYC-Net will endure and develop over the future.
