Smith - CYCWAM representative,

Each has also taken on committee
involvement to develop aspects of the
agenda going forward.going forward.
The CCCYCA recognized Heather
Modlin as she passed off the board
as Past President this year. Heather
joined the Council board in 1984, in
Edmonton at a time when the role &
purpose of the Council was being
developed. Congratulations Heather
and Best Wishes on your continued
contributions to child and youth care
in Canada.
Time and time again during the conference
the connection made between the
conference co-chairs was noted as each
brought different styles and skills to the task
complimenting each other wonderfully. Both
came to the task late in the conference
process, intent on making it all work.
Between them, they set the tone of
friendship, hospitality and competence that
rippled out to influence the registrants.
Congratulations on a job well done. The
closing of the conference will allow each to
return to their families who certainly have
missed them. Look for each to continue with
CYCWAM developing significant initiatives to
come.
