Nova Scotia Child and Youth Care Workers’ Association Award
Over the past year the Nova Scotia Child and Youth Care Workers’ Association (NSCYCWA) has granted an award to one of our members who represented
exemplary practices in our field. This year, the NSCYCWA will continue with this practise by granting this award to a member within our province who has
contributed greatly to our profession. This will be awarded during the provincial conference held on May 3 and 4, 2012.
This is your opportunity to highlight the excellence of one of your colleagues. We strongly urge you to nominate an individual for this award.
You may nominate a fellow member by completing the form you can download and mailing it along with letters of support to the address below, if you are a
current member (membership paid for 2012). It would be beneficial to have three letter of support/recommendation from any of the following: the nominee’s
employer, colleagues, youth the individual has worked with (if appropriate), teachers along with the nomination form itself.
If you are not a member and wish to join, you can make this nomination at the same time as you renew your membership.
