The Rocky Mountains of Canada have been an international destination for well over a century now. The first
transcontinental railroad brought the first tourists to the legendary Banff Springs Hotel. With exceptional
mountain vistas, waterfalls and lakes to hike to in the summer and long, glorious ski trails and runs in winter, the
towns of Banff, Lake Louise and Canmore developed into year round destinations for the active tourist. Delegates
will be inspired to learn new skills, re-energize, practise self-care and network with other professionals while
enjoying the splendour of the Canadian Rockies. There will also be self catered optional tours made available to
delegates to experience the hot springs, the ice fields, the Sulphur Mountain Gondola and Lake Louise. It could be
argued the Rocky Mountains are both a center for resilience and a celebration of it in all it offers. Please review
and explore the accommodation, services and touring links provided below to plan your visit.
As you may know from
using them elsewhere,
you can hop right into the
map and explore the area.
You will see Canmore is
very close o Banff, which is
just up the road. Also,
please explore the other
links offered below to
learn more about the town
and the parks.

The venue for the conference will be the Radisson Canmore in Canmore. Canmore was the site for cross country events
at the 1988 Olympics and remains the national Nordic center and the gateway village to the Rockies. Banff, for example,
is just twenty minutes up the road.

period of the conference. While limited lodging at the Radisson remains available, those seeking accommodations over
the full conference period may now book with the property next door to the Radisson. The

here will take you to either hotel.
