MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION


PRINCIPLES AND STANDARDS

Professional Child and Youth Care is committed to promoting the well being of children, youth, and families in a context of
respect and collaboration. This commitment is carried out in a variety of settings and with a broad range of roles including
direct practice, supervision, administration, teaching and training, research, consultation, and advocacy.

The principles represent values deeply rooted in our history, to which there is a common commitment.

MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS

Full $50

Includes those with a degree and/or diploma in Child and Youth Work or an undergraduate degree in the Human Service
field, or a person who has been grand parented into this profession by working as a CYC practitioner, supervisor, manager,
instructor, or trainer providing or supporting specialized care to children, youth and their families (with at least 2 years
experience).  Renewing membership will be based on ongoing training and/or professional development.

Student $35

Available to those pursuing studies pertaining to theory of child and youth care practice. Entitled to all privileges of
membership.

Associate Membership $35

Available to those individuals who do not meet the criteria above, yet believe in and would like to support the Child and
Youth Care Association of New Brunswick.  Entitled to membership rate at CYCANB functions.

Agency $150

Available to agencies that support the goals, purposes and objectives of the CYCANB. Entitled to one membership rate at
CYCANB functions.


All memberships are valid for one year, beginning from the month of payment.
