HOW CAN I BE INVOLVED?
You can have as much or as little involvement as you have the time for. There are several ways
you can be involved in shaping the future of the Child and Youth Care profession:
1. Join the Board of Directors
Board members are elected to serve a two-year term. The Board meets approximately
once a month to report on progress of current projects, plan upcoming training and
other events, and to discuss issues pertinent to the Child and Youth Care field.
A transportation allowance is available if you must travel to the meetings.
2. Join a Committee
Committees usually meet less often than the board. There are currently four committees.
To find out more, click on the Committee Button.
3. Submit to Our Newsletter
An article, letter to the editor or other information can be submitted to the newsletter
4. Write or Email Your Concerns
This is your Association, so please feel free to send us any comments,
concerns, or issues you would like us to address. Concerns can be sent to the address
on the Main page, or by sending an email.
5. Just Join!!
We know that as a Child or Youth Care Worker, you are very busy. Just by joining you
will be kept up to date about your profession and you will be contributing to progress
within the field. Remember, there is strength in numbers.
For more information on any of the above, please contact Lise Babineau-Nowlan at (506) 525-2766,
or click on the email button and send us a message.
